Southern Turkey has excellent diving and underwater visibility. In this part of the Eastern Mediterranean, sea temperatures can be 26 degrees in summer. Fethiye is very scenic but if you are a party animal you should try Marmaris. We can provide full PADI training with training to Instructor level at extra cost. If conditions are favourable, we hope you will dive some less frequented, interesting locations.

Fethiye

There are 12 regular dive sites. Many different coloured anemones, corals, sea fans, lace coral, orange and green sponges can be seen. Marine life includes large Octopus and Grouper, Scorpion and Butterfly Blennies. There are interesting dives with nice drop offs, many small holes to explore and an open cavern with beautiful scenery above and below the water line. The town is delightful with superb markets and is close to Olu Deniz.

Icmeler (near Marmaris)

The hard boats depart Icmeler in the morning and lunch is included on dive days. Here there are many caves and tunnels to explore, the sea life is prolific with plenty of medium to large Grouper, Moray Eels and more. You will see hundreds of amphorae and a couple of anchors, which have been there for over 800 years.

Fethiye Dive Centre

Our Fethiye Dive Centre is a PADI 5 Star Centre offering year-round diving, using fully equipped, purpose-built hard boats.

All of the professional, enthusiastic diving team are trained to meet the Centre's exacting standards. There are 12 regular dive sites in the area for example Afkule at 25 metres is one of the best dives in the Med! The wall where you start the dive is very colourful with many varieties of marine life, anemone, corals, sea fans and lace coral as well as Moray, shrimp and blennies. Exit into an open cavern with beautiful varied scenery above and below the water.

You will stay at a good quality 2 star hotel near to the Dive Centre or you might prefer one of the nearby excellent hillside resorts from which you are collected on dive days.

Fethiye is a historic, small Turkish town, with a palm tree lined marina and a picturesque backdrop of cliffs with rock tombs and a crusader castle. You will find markets, bazaars and plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. It is only a dolmus ride away from Olu Deniz, with its turquoise waters and sheltered lagoon. You will stay at a good quality 2 star hotel near to the Dive Centre or you might prefer one of the nearby excellent hillside resorts from which you are collected on dive days.

Icmeler Dive Centre (near Marmaris)

Icmeler/Marmaris is a PADI 5 Star Centre and an Instructor Development Centre, where qualified divers and novices are welcome.

Most of your diving will be from fully equipped, purpose-built hard boats, which are moored a short distance from the dive centre in the nearby harbour. There are many caves and tunnels for the experienced diver and the sea life is abundant. Kadirga Rock is a favourite dive site with a wealth of marine life, lots of amphorae and anchors dating back thousands of years.

Icmeler is a stylish, established resort not far along the coast from Marmaris. The lush green hills slope down to the sandy beach, which stretches for about half a mile around a curved bay with beach side bars, cafes and hotels. Icmeler is a dolmus taxi drive away from the lively nightlife of Marmaris.

IAH use some friendly, pleasant hotels in Icmeler which are convenient for the dive centre and harbour or you might prefer a hotel in Marmaris or nearby Turunc.
